Graphite pencils
They are the most common pencils, and they are usually made from a mixture of graphite and clay. These pencils are suitable for many uses, as they leave a blackish gray line of varying intensities depending on the degree of hardness and blackness of the material it is made of. The higher the percentage of graphite, the softer and darker the line. And the higher the percentage of clay, the harder and lighter the pen.

To distinguish the percentage of graphite in this type of pen, manufacturers use the letters (B) and (H) with numbers, Here is an explanation of the difference between these two types:

Type B pencils:
This type is characterized by a dark line, and some use it for note-taking purposes, and it can also be used for drawing, and the dark line of these pens comes from being softer, and therefore they leave a greater amount of graphite on the paper.

Type H pencils:
The letter (H) indicates the hardness of the pencil, as this type of pencil is very solid, with the ability to hold the tip in place, ensuring maximum accuracy.

Charcoal pencils
There are many types of charcoal pencils, but they are generally distinguished by providing rich colors and high contrast, but charcoal pencils also have some reasons, as they may be more fragile than other pencils, and they smear the paper easily.

Charcoal pencils are usually used in drawing realistic paintings that look like pictures, and other drawings that need details. These pencils have been used since ancient times by international artists.

Carbon pencils
Wood-coated carbon pencils are obtained from a mixture of charcoal and graphite. These pencils draw smoothly and with precision, leaving rich, velvety, matte black lines that are ideal for sketching and sketching.

Colored pencils
The basis of the colored pencil consists of a mixture of wax and oil, or one of them with water, binding materials, and dyes that may be natural or industrial, and it is the component that gives the colored pencils their distinctive appearance, and this mixture is covered with a thin layer of wood after preparing the basis.

Wax pencils
They are pencils made of hardened wax and coated with paper or wood like regular pencils, and since they do not scratch the surface and are moisture resistant, they can be used by everyone from carpenters, aircraft designers, cars, to tailors, for various purposes, but these pencils do not contain Points are sharp, so they are not suitable for drawing fine details on artwork.
